Key Features
Polychromatic Broadband Output
Multi-wavelength emission simultaneously targets multiple absorption peaks in complex organic contaminants.
High Power Density
Up to 10 kW per lamp reduces the number of units required, lowering CAPEX and simplifying plant layout.
AOP-Compatible Design
Optimized for H₂O₂/UV and O₃/UV advanced oxidation processes targeting micropollutants and pharmaceuticals.
Instant Start & Restrike
Full output achieved within 30 seconds — no warm-up delays during flow variability or power interruptions.
Electronic Dimming Control
50–100% output range allows precise dose control matched to real-time flow and UV transmittance conditions.
Quartz Sleeve Optimized
Paired with synthetic fused silica sleeves for maximum UV transmittance and thermal shock resistance.

Applications
Industries and use cases where the PB SERIES excels
Wastewater Tertiary Treatment
Meeting stringent effluent standards for discharge to sensitive receiving waters.
Advanced Oxidation (AOP)
Destruction of pharmaceuticals, PPCPs, PFAS precursors, and taste/odor compounds.
Chloramine Destruction
High-dose UV for chloramine removal ahead of dialysis and food processing.
Industrial Effluent
Treating complex industrial wastewater with recalcitrant organic contaminants.
About the PB SERIES
The PB Series medium-pressure lamps operate at significantly higher power densities than low-pressure alternatives, producing polychromatic UV radiation across the full 200–400 nm spectrum. This broadband output enables advanced oxidation processes (AOP) when combined with hydrogen peroxide or ozone, breaking down pharmaceuticals, pesticides, and endocrine disruptors that low-pressure systems cannot address. A single PB Series lamp replaces multiple low-pressure units, reducing reactor footprint and installation complexity.
